what is the average selling price of a 1968 volkswagen beetle?

There is a 68 vw beetle for sale down by my house that is $3800, but would it be possible to talk him down to $3000. The car is a fairly good looking car. The engine runs fine. They have custom painted it themselves using what looks like spray paint.

you can check ebay and see what they are going for. That is a very cool and fairly popular car. Be sure to check it over for rust.
