I have a 2006 Hyundai Sonata and next the CD player it says MP3,what does that mean?

I got this car the other day and have been wondering what that means.Also on the dashboard there is a little red light blinking which I assume is a alarm but I have no remote on key chain..any ideas on both questions?

it means you can play mp3 cd's in the cd player. if u would like to know more let me know
