I recently tore apart my 73 suzuki ts 185 because the piston broke apart.?
I had the cylinder rebored and need to make sure there isn't any small metal parts in the engine. I am wondering if I have to split it apart to clean it. I have drained the oil and drained new oil through it without very much particles coming out (the
TS 185 is a two stroke single, so the primary compression and the crank are sealed from the gear box and clutch. so draining the gearbox and flushing that through isn't going to alter the fact that there is likely to be bits of piston inside the bearings
