What is the best second row placement for infant and toddler car seats when need both installed?

I have a 2005 Honda Odyssey as my car and need to install car seats for a 2 1/2 year old and an infant. Should I attach the infant carrier car seat in the left or right seat of the second row? Am I better off sliding the second row right side seat to
