1994 Honda Accord radiator fan running after car is turned off?

I just noticed this yesterday, after I turn off my 94 accord, i still hear the radiator fan spinning. I'm not sure if this is normal. I went back, started the car again, gave it a little gas and turned it off again, and this time, the fan stopped spinning.
It is totally normal for some vehicles to have the cooling fans keep operating for several minutes after the key is turned off. They sense that the coolant is extremely hot and are commanded on by the PCM if the ECT(electronic coolant temperature sensor)
