Built in the early nineteen sixties by the Late General
K Umarao Singh, The General’s Retreat was to serve as his post
retirement sanctuary. Designed by a French architect, The General’s
Retreat is a perfect blend of the old and the new. Resting on part of
the sprawling Chomu estate, it is in the heart of Jaipur City; yet the
surrounding greens make seem far away from the hub. |
