94 camry 2.2L crankshaft bolt. Is it left or right hand thread? Broke crank pulley holding tool. Ideas?
Sounds like a good idea. I have pulled off the intake, head cover, exhaust, distributor, plugs, injectors, fuel rail, coolant bypass & outlet etc. to change head gasket. How much has to be put back on to try this?
If you can get a socket on the main bolt and a suitable breaker bar you can use the starter to break loose the bolt.
Position the breaker bar so that it is supported by a frame rail,, or anywhere that it can push against securely (safely), without

So there is no need to get one of these. Some workshops would have problem getting the crank pulley out from an old car. This tool simplify the removal process. There is also no need to remove radiator hose and other stuff to remove the crank pulley....
