What is a good bicycle seats for a very heavyset woman?

I'm trying to lose weight and <dying> to buy a bicycle, but don't want the discomfort of standard seats. I'm around 300 lbs, so comfort plus durability is key. Which bicycle seat would be good for me? I have a pretty wide backside.

You may want to consider getting a recumbent bicycle. They have larger seats and are MUCH more comfortable to ride. Although they have a certain geek appeal to them.
