Car alarm remote starter?

My Ultra car alarm key less remote starter is malfunctioning. When I press the remote starter button nothing happens. So I start the car with the key, and than the head lights, break lights and all the lights on the dash start blinking on and off even

sounds like the alarm system is either bad or has a short.......google them and call there 1800 or 1900 number and see if they can walk u through resetting the system and see if that works..... if it doesn't then u will either have to remove or replace
