How much does it normally cost to get a new brake pads replace? (I drove 20miles when emergency brakes was on)?

It's an auto. The car seems to runs fine, but the emergency brakes light keep popping sometime, so that's why I'm worried here. I drove like 70mph for 20 miles.
depends on the car and the pads...it's gonna run you ABOUT $200. or more..and have the transmission checked, if you drive an auto, the tranny might have a problem because you drove so far with the parking brake on...(it screws up the shifting...)
