automotive brake rotors?

i just bought ac delco front brake rotors and delco pads for my 93 s-10 blazer doining front brakes for the first time. the rotors have a very fine film of oil on them should i wash the face
(brake pad area) with solevent before installing pads

Sure it won't hurt anything and will remove the oily film!
